The New York Jets are coming off a massive win over the Houston Texans. Aaron Rodgers and New York’s offense put it all together in the second half and downed Houston 21-13.
The win improved New York to 3-6 and are surprisingly in second place in the AFC East. Fans are hoping this win will turn around their season and get the Jets on track to make the playoffs for the first time in over a decade.
Rodgers may have his eyes on someone who could help New York do just that.
“I Hope He Gets A Chance” Jets’ Aaron Rodgers Makes Desires Known (Report)
According to The Pat McAfee Show:
“I think David Bakhtiari could probably play right now..
He’s let himself go over the years but that’s his body now.
I hope he gets a chance and if he’s healthy he can still be an elite player” ~ @Aaron Rodgers

While New York has a completely revamped offensive line, bringing in a name like David Bakhtiari as a depth piece isn’t a baad idea.
The 33-year-old has played 13 games in the last three seasons combined, including a one-game season in 2021 and 2023. Still, he is likely to be familiar to football fans. Bakhtiari said this offseason that he intended to continue playing despite undergoing major knee surgery in November.
It will take a while to get him back up to NFL speed, just in time for the playoffs?
