“This Is Sick” Jeffery Epstein Files Reveal New Extremely Disturbing Details Regarding Giants Owner Steve Tisch

New York Giants co-owner Steve Tisch has come under renewed scrutiny following a detailed investigative report by The Athletic published on February 12, 2026, titled “‘New one for you‘: Inside Steve Tisch’s transactional friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.”

The piece analyzes emails from the U.S. Department of Justice’s massive January 2026 release of over 3 million Epstein-related documents, revealing explicit exchanges between Tisch and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein in 2013.

Steve Tisch Jeffrey Epstein Emails: New Details from The Athletic Report (February 2026)

The communications, which occurred primarily in 2013 after an April breakfast meeting, centered almost exclusively on Epstein facilitating introductions to women in his network. Highlights from The Athletic’s analysis include:

  • Epstein provided “scouting reports” on women in crude, objectifying language:
    • An aspiring actress described as having a “10 a–”
    • A microbiology major at a university.
    • An “exotic” Tahitian woman, with Epstein assuring Tisch she was not a “working girl” (meaning not involved in sex work).
  • Epstein expressed concern about digital records in one message: “send me a number to call I don’t like records of these conversations.” Despite this, the pair continued emailing extensively instead of switching to phone calls.
  • In May 2013, Epstein wrote to Tisch: “New one for you.” Tisch responded eagerly, attempting to set up a meeting by repeatedly inviting the woman to Boston during NFL owners’ meetings. The emails indicate no meeting occurred.

The report emphasizes the transactional nature of the relationship: Epstein acted as a connector for Tisch with at least four women in the months following their initial meeting, with minimal discussion of philanthropy, investments, movies (despite Tisch’s Hollywood background as a producer), or other topics common in Epstein’s exchanges with other elites.

Steve Tisch’s Response and Broader Context

Tisch’s name appears at least 440 times across the released documents. In a statement following earlier January 30, 2026, reporting (also by The Athletic and outlets like ESPN and The Guardian), Tisch described the association as “brief”, limited to emails about “adult women” alongside topics like movies, philanthropy, and investments. He expressed deep regret, called Epstein a “terrible person,” and stated he never visited Epstein’s island or accepted other invitations.

The Giants issued no further comment beyond the initial statement, and the NFL—via Commissioner Roger Goodell—indicated the league would “look into” the matter and review the context, without speculating on potential discipline under the personal conduct policy.

No criminal charges have arisen from these specific exchanges, as they reportedly involve consenting adult introductions rather than the underage sex trafficking at the core of Epstein’s crimes (he died in 2019 while awaiting trial). However, the revelations have sparked significant criticism from fans, media, and observers, with calls in some corners for Tisch to step away from the Giants organization.

Why This Matters for NFL Fans and the Giants

As co-owner and chairman of the New York Giants (alongside John Mara), Tisch holds significant influence over team operations. The timing—amid the NFL offseason and following Super Bowl LX—has amplified attention on how league owners’ off-field associations could impact the sport’s image.

This story draws directly from publicly available DOJ Epstein files and builds on initial reports. The situation remains under review, with potential for further developments as more scrutiny continues.
