New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers made it clear recently that he wants the ball in his second year in the league. The Giants made an effort this offseason to give the No. 6 pick in the 2024 draft a better quarterback room than the one he had in his rookie season with Daniel Jones, Tommy DeVito, and Drew Lock.
The Giants have veteran quarterback Russell Wilson under contract for 2025 after they signed him in free agency. New York planned for their long-term at the position by trading back into the first round to select Jaxson Dart with the No. 25 pick.
Jaxson Dart threw a dime at practice

Dart appears to be on his way to eventually being the starter for the Giants.
The Ole Miss standout made a highlight throw at rookie minicamp on Friday that caught the attention of the fanbase when he hit Jordan Bly, an undrafted rookie free agent out of Gardner-Webb, on a deep ball.
“Dart slingin’ it,” posted the Giants’ social media team on X with a slow-motion video of the pass.

“Beautiful ball placement,” posted another.
“Release time was excellent,” argued a poster.
“That’s my quarterback. Hotty Toddy, Giants,” wrote another.
“Oo that ball had some zip to it,” believes a fan.
Not everyone was impressed.
“Stop patting the ball you know DBs coming down on that apparently,” wrote a fan.
“He was looking that way the whole time unless that’s his first option,” posted another.
