Jason Kelce’s father, Ed Kelce, apparently gave him some solid dating advice before he met his wife, Kylie Kelce. Ed Kelce recently appeared on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with his sons Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce. The father of the two talented football players discussed numerous topics, including football and dating.
Ed Kelce also revealed the solid dating advice that he gave his boys, including other viewers as well. It seems like Ed Kelce’s advice worked since Jason Kelce ended up dating Kylie Kelce and marrying her later. All this happened despite Jason Kelce apparently being awkward around women and, frankly, not knowing what to say in a conversation with his date.
“I do remember a brief discussion Jason and I had. You said, ‘I really don’t know what to talk about.’ And I told you that, and it’s true for every guy—any guy listening. ‘You know, I know I play football. I know everybody likes to talk about that. But tell me about you.’ Nod your head, ‘Oh wow, yeah, cool.’ You know, they add little comments in there to make her feel good and just… you don’t have to say nothing.” Ed Kelce revealed on the ‘New Heights’ podcast with Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce.

Jason Kelce has admitted in the past that he has never been able to get along much with women, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, was one of the rare ones whom he took home to meet his parents. Apparently, his whole family was super-surprised to see Jason Kelce in a long and stable relationship.
Jason Kelce Wants To Celebrate Father’s Day With Ed Kelce In German Way
In the same podcast episode, Jason Kelce also admitted that he thought that Father’s Day was one of the most important holidays of the year, but also one of the least celebrated. The retired Philadelphia Eagles center also revealed that he wanted to celebrate Father’s Day with Ed Kelce in the German way.

This is basically sending the father figures in a family into the woods with a wagon full of beer and various types of meats and sausages. The dads spend the whole day roaming around the woods enjoying themselves and come back later to meet their families. To this, Ed Kelce responded that he would like to do that, except that he would want to switch locations to a poolside instead of the woods.
