Jason Kelce, former Philadelphia Eagles center, is being compared to his brother, Travis Kelce, who is currently playing as a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs. After the Super Bowl loss against the Philadelphia Eagles, rumors are going around that Kansas City’s Travis Kelce might soon retire.
Travis Kelce’s performance was certainly not so great in the game against the Eagles. In that game, the tight end managed only four receptions for 39 yards, failing to put up any score for the team. In the 2024 NFL season, Travis Kelce managed a total of 97 receptions for 823 yards, scoring three touchdowns.
“Isn’t Travis sort of in the same place our colleague and friend, his brother, Jason Kelce was in last year, still feeling like you can still do it and you still have it, but you know, you don’t have it like you used to. And it’s going to be based on whether or not Travis Kelce understands he’s a diminished player and is comfortable with that. Can Travis Kelce go forward in 2025 and be that person, especially when so many lucrative opportunities await him in his second career. Travis Kelce is going to have to take some time, sit down and know what sort of player he wants to be and what sort of life he wants to live, but he’s earned the right to take his time in doing so.” Former NFL player Ryan Clark said on ‘NFL on ESPN’.

Jason Kelce was the 191st pick in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL draft and played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 2011 to 2023 when he retired from the game. Despite not playing his beloved sport professionally anymore, Jason Kelce has been keeping busy with numerous ventures, including the ‘New Heights’ podcast with his brother Travis Kelce.

Jason Kelce Could Not Decide Between Eagles and Chiefs During Super Bowl
On another note, Jason Kelce apparently could not decide between supporting the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs during the recent Super Bowl. Being a former Eagles player, Kelce wanted to of course bleed green for the day. However, his brother, Travis Kelce, is also a Kansas City Chiefs player, which makes Jason Kelce also want to support this team.

On an episode of the ‘New Heights’ podcast before the Super Bowl, Jason Kelce admitted to his brother that he had an internal conflict of which team to support on Sunday. However, he also confessed that since Travis Kelce is his brother, he would end up supporting him no matter what.
