The Jacksonville Jaguars have not had a good start to the 2024 season after losing their first two games of the year. While they came close to victory in both games against the Miami Dolphins and the Cleveland Browns, there are several problems the team needs to address, especially on offense. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence had some harsh words about his team’s slow start.
Trevor Lawrence Criticizes Team
The former number-one overall pick is shocked that Jacksonville has had such a rough start to the beginning of the season and thinks that they can be good with the weapons that they have.We suck right now, I’m pretty shocked. We know we’ve got a good group, we’ve got good players, and we can be a really good offense, but clearly we’re not.

Jacksonville Jaguars Struggles
While the Jaguars’ defense has done a decent job in their first two games, the offense led by Lawrence has been mediocre, even though the team has good weapons in each position. The veteran quarterback has only amounted to 382 passing yards and one touchdown in the first two games while running back Travis Etienne Jr. has gone for 96 rushing yards and two scores. The Jaguars will have to find an answer quickly, as their schedule for the next few weeks gets a lot more difficult, with games against the Buffalo Bills, Houston Texans, and Indianapolis Colts. Jacksonville fans are hoping that Lawrence’s harsh criticism will fire up the team to start performing better.
Do you think that the Jaguars will turn things around, or will it be too late for them to become one of the better teams in the league?
