Jared Goff and his wife, Christen Harper, recently celebrated their baby shower at Harper’s parents’ home. Harper, a supermodel, shared pictures of the celebration on her Instagram account. The baby shower was indeed kept low-key but elegant at the same time, and was held in the backyard. Keeping up with the female gender of their baby, the entire baby shower was pink-themed, from the table settings to the flowers and even many of the desserts.
Goff wore a grey hoodie with jeans for the occasion, while his wife, Christen Harper, wore a floral maxi dress with a side-slit. The celebration comes days after Harper was seen in Sports Illustrated Swimsuit magazine, showing off her baby bump as she posed in different swimsuits.
“Backyard shower at my parents for baby girl!” Christen Harper captioned her Instagram post, showing off the baby shower which was hosted by her parents in their backyard.
Jared Goff, quarterback for the Detroit Lions, and Christen Harper met each other on Raya and got engaged in 2022. The pair got married last year in June and are expecting their first child together.
With him soon about to become a father, the upcoming NFL season will be even more important for Jared Goff. Goff has been playing for the Detroit Lions since 2021 and before that played for the Los Angeles Rams from 2016 to 2020. Goff started his NFL career after being selected by the Rams as the first overall pick in the very first round of the draft. Before the league, Goff played college football for the California Golden Bears.
Jared Goff Is Hungry For October 12th Matchup Against Kansas City Chiefs
On another note, Jared Goff and the rest of the Detroit Lions are gearing up to take on different teams in the upcoming NFL season, according to the schedule released by the league. One of the most anticipated clashes will be the Lions vs. Chiefs matchup on October 12th.
In previous face-offs where Jared Goff has played for the Detroit Lions against the Kansas City Chiefs, the former has ended up winning. While Goff seems pretty confident about his performance against the Chiefs, Patrick Mahomes, Kansas City’s quarterback, will be arming himself to break Detroit’s record.
The Detroit Lions will be kicking off their regular season with a matchup against the Green Bay Packers. Before this, the Lions will be playing three preseason games against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Atlanta Falcons, and the Houston Texans.
