Detroit Lions starting quarterback Jared Goff’s wife, Christen harper, recently shared a series of social media stories that recalled wholesome moments with their baby Romy on the beachside.

Over at her Instagram page, Christen Harper, wife of Detroit Lions star Jared Goff, posted a series of stories that touched on her moments with her NFl star husband and their baby, Romy, who was born earlier this month.
“Time flies when you’re having fun!!!” Harper captioned one of the stories.
“Best month of my life!!!! Thank you romy girl,” she said in a photo that showed her holding baby Romy on the beachside.

Another photo showed Goff in dad mode pushing Romy in a stroller.
“Before Jared left for camp 🏈,” Christen posted in her caption.
Jared Goff and model-actress Christen Harper first connected in 2019 after matching on the invite-only dating app Raya, kicking off a relationship that quickly went public with a joint red-carpet appearance at the ESPY Awards that year.
Harper, who relocated from California to Michigan to be with Goff following his trade to the Lions, and Goff solidified their commitment when he proposed during a friends’ getaway to Mexico in June 2022.

The couple wed in an intimate ceremony on June 22, 2024, surrounded by family and close friends in Ojai, California, and have since woven their partnership into both personal milestones and public-facing projects.
In July 2025, they welcomed their first child, daughter Romy Isabelle, celebrating on social media as they balance NFL life with parenthood and shared appearances on shows like Netflix’s “Quarterback.”
Jared Goff, Lions Not Bothered Over Losing Ben Johnson
When the Lions convened for the start of training camp this week, the spotlight briefly fell on offensive coordinator Ben Johnson’s move to the Bears. Rather than panic, quarterback Jared Goff and Detroit’s roster have embraced a message of stability, insisting the transition won’t rattle a team fresh off an NFC Championship Game appearance.
Detroit responded to Johnson’s departure by reuniting Goff with veteran play-caller John Morton, who oversaw the club’s high-octane offense in 2022. The veteran signal-caller lauded Morton’s return, noting that their chemistry was “instant” the first time around and that they’ve already begun sketching out “creative ideas” to keep opposing defenses off balance this fall.

Entering his tenth NFL season, Goff is relishing an expanded voice in the play-design room. “I try to do a lot,” he said, explaining that he now feels more confident steering offensive concepts toward what he believes will work on game day.
Behind closed doors, the refrain around the team is straightforward: losing Johnson stings, but Jared Goff and the Lions aren’t losing any sleep over it.
