Jalen Ramsey, Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback, was definitely a surprising name in the team’s roster for the upcoming regular season. Ramsey’s trade to the Steelers, along with tight end Jonnu Smith from the Miami Dolphins, shocked the entire NFL world. However, it seems like Ramsey has been doing extremely well with the new team and even impressed head coach Mike Tomlin.
Tomlin spoke to reporters recently about Ramsey’s performance during training camp and praised the young cornerback’s performance. According to Tomlin, Ramsey’s versatility and work ethic are things to be noted and the factors that make him stand out among the crowd.
“There’s no question man. He brings a demeanor man that’s contagious. His versatility, obviously, as you guys have seen today, but his attitude …. his professionalism, like this guy is impressive in the classroom as he is on the grass. I’ve been blown away by his approach to the business.” Mike Tomlin spoke about cornerback Jalen Ramsey in recent conversation with reporters.
Jalen Ramsey will be hoping to do better for himself and for his new team in the upcoming football season. Ramsey and the Steelers are also leaning on to veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers to take care of their offense in the 2025 NFL campaign. The Steelers have essentially designed their entire roster and their strategy with Rodgers in mind, and hopefully the quarterback will help them get to the Lombardi trophy.

Jalen Ramsey was not only praised by head coach Mike Tomlin recently, but also by linebacker T.J. Watt who recently appeared on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’, along with defensive tackle Cameron Heyward.
“It’s been huge. And it goes both ways. I mean, he’s the Swiss Army knife of our defense right now. You’re going to see him play in every position. You’re going to see him play a man. And any time those guys lock down just for an extra half a second, we love it because it allows us to get to the quarterback.” T.J. Watt praised cornerback Jalen Ramsey in his recent appearance on the ‘Pat McAfee Show’.
Jalen Ramsey’s choice by the Pittsburgh Steelers was actually condemned by numerous fans and analysts. Some felt that the cornerback did not have a steady career and could not be trusted to perform on the field. However, it seems like Ramsey is proving all his haters wrong as he continues to dazzle on the field.
