The Philadelphia Eagles (11-2) had a troubling report on quarterback Jalen Hurts surface hours before the team was set to play the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-3) on Sunday.

Hurts was listed on the Week 15 injury report for having a hand injury. However, the Eagles star was a full participant at practice for all three days leading up to the contest.
The Philadelphia Eagles had drama this week
Hurts and the Eagles offense received plenty of national attention this week amid wide receiver A.J Brown’s frustrations with Philadelphia’s passing attack in the team’s 22-16 win over the Carolina Panthers in Week 14. Brown, who slammed his helmet in frustration during the game after not being targeted in the first quarter, said the passing attack needed to be better.
Defensive lineman Brandon Graham hinted earlier in the week that the relationship between Hurts and Brown was fractured.
“They were friends before this, but things have changed, and I understand that because life happens,” Grahan said via ESPN. “But it’s the business side that we have to make sure the personal doesn’t get in the way of the business.”
Hurts, Brown, Graham, and head coach Nick Sirianni tried to downplay issues between the quarterback and star receiver later in the week.
The passing attack could be an issue for the Eagles against the Steelers.
Jalen Hurts has a broken finger
Per the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Hurts has a broken finger on his non-throwing hand.
“Eagles QB Jalen Hurts arrives at the stadium, with a bandage on his apparently broken finger on his left hand,” Rapoport posted on X.

Update:
Per the NFL Network’s Sara Walsh, Hurts confirmed after Sunday’s game that the ring finger on his left hand was indeed broken and the issue did “impact” his play against the Steelers.
Hurts finished Sunday’s game going 25-of-32 passing for 290 yards and two touchdowns in the Eagles’ 27-13 win at Lincoln Financial Field. He added 45 yards on the ground as Philadelphia impressed to 12-2 on the season.

Some fans on social media were worried about the Eagles’ chances on Sunday after the report of Hurts’ broken finger. While the good news is the injury isn’t on his throwing hand, the issue could cause issues with snaps and how he holds onto the ball.
“well this isn’t great,” wrote a fan.
“he’s gonna blame the bad passing on that today watch, PR cover up,” posted another.
“Ouch. Nothing is more irritating then broken finger,” suggested a fan.
