Jake Ferguson got some great news recently from his team that he has been nominated by the Cowboys for the Salute To Service award, and his fiancée displayed her pride for her man in a recent Instagram post. While Ferguson’s name has been tossed into the ring by the Cowboys, other teams have also added their own players’ names to the list, including Christian McCaffrey by the 49ers and Noah Gray by the Chiefs.

Ferguson hopes to win the distinguished award after George Kittle won the title last year. The award is presented by the USAA to those who have worked hard with the military community and their families.
“So proud of you!!” Haley Cavinder captioned her Instagram story, re-sharing the post by the Cowboys about Ferguson’s nomination.
Jake Ferguson has been pretty blessed this season to have Haley Cavinder’s support, especially after getting engaged earlier this year. Sometime back, Ferguson’s fiancée also wished him for National Tight End day, which was celebrated the previous weekend. Despite Cavinder’s wishes and support, Ferguson failed to score for the Cowboys last time out.
Ferguson and the Cowboys will now take some time to breathe and rest during the bye-week before their next matchup. While the team is indeed second in the NFC East, they still have plenty of work to do if they hope to make it anywhere near dominating the Eagles.
Jake Ferguson’s Team Needs To Do Better On The Road
If Jake Ferguson’s Cowboys are hoping to get anywhere near the Lombardi Trophy, the team needs to learn to do well on the road. After the first few weeks of this football season, it is clear that the Cowboys have not had much success in road games, but have done spectacularly at home. However, none of the players seem to have the right solution for this problem.

“I feel like whatever it is, the way that we play at home, we got to learn how to do that on the road. I feel like at home, it’s like we got all the momentum, we do everything right, but on the road, it’s just something that we be missing. So. I don’t know what it is, but we just got to put it all together.” Cowboys RB Javonte Williams said.

Not just the Cowboys, but many other teams in the league do struggle when they are away from home since they are missing a major advantage. Still, the Cowboys seem to be struggling a little extra and fans will hope that the team gets out of this slump pretty soon.
