Jake Ferguson, Dallas Cowboys tight end, recently got engaged to his girlfriend, Haley Cavinder, over the weekend, and the sporting world cannot stop reacting. One of those who commented on Ferguson’s engagement was Gia Duddy, the ex-girlfriend of Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis. Duddy commented on the TikTok video that announced Ferguson and Cavinder’s engagement.
Ferguson and Haley Cavinder have been together since 2023 after meeting on social media. Apparently, Ferguson was the first to send a message to Cavinder. Ferguson is definitely a romantic and arranged a beach set up to get down on his knee to propose to Cavinder. The couple shared a number of pictures of the proposal, with Cavinder also proudly showing off her new big rock.

While Jake Ferguson is continuing his NFL career, Haley Cavinder has stepped on the brakes in terms of her college basketball career. Cavinder last played for the Miami Hurricanes, along with her sister Hanna Cavinder. The two are apparently putting a stop to their sporting careers and will focus on their social media influencer lifestyles.
Ferguson has been playing as a tight end for the Dallas Cowboys since 2022 and being selected by the team as the 129th pick in the fourth round of the NFL draft. Before stepping foot into the league, the 26-year-old played college football for the Wisconsin Badgers from 2017 to 2021. In the 2024 NFL season, Ferguson managed a total of 59 receptions for 494 yards for the Cowboys.

In fact, Hanna Cavinder was the one who filmed the beachside engagement. While Haley Cavinder seems to have finally found her soulmate, Hanna Cavinder is yet to find the love of her life. Her last relationship was with Carson Beck who plays for the Miami Hurricanes. However, the two recently split up after Beck was caught sending messages to multiple women while on vacation.
