The Jacksonville Jaguars traded away an interesting starter a week before the NFL Trade Deadline. The Jaguars traded starting left tackle Cam Robinson and a conditional 2026 seventh-round pick to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round pick. Robinson entered the final year of his contract and will be an unrestricted free agent after the season’s end.

The Jacksonville Jaguars replacement has done a decent job
Since Week 8, versatile offensive lineman Walker Little has started at left tackle for the past four games. Little has done a solid job in the blindside protector role, surrendering six pressures, two hurries, three QB hits, and one sack allowed in his four starts this season. He currently has a 66.5 pass-blocking, a 72.3 run-blocking, and a 67.9 overall PFF Grade.
Little is in the final year of his rookie contract, which he signed during the 2021 offseason, and will be an unrestricted free agent after the end of the season. Unlike Robinson, he will be part of their future plans.
He locked in a multi-year deal
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Walker Little have agreed to a massive contract extension hours before their divisional matchup against the Houston Texans. As Rapoport points out, the deal is for 3 years, worth $45 million, with $26 million guaranteed. His contract runs through 2027, and he will be a free agent in 2028.
