There’s no denying the Jacksonville Jaguars are a mess right now after enduring a 0-3 start to their 2024 season. Due to their poor performance, the Trevor Lawrence-led team has sunk further in the latest NFL power rankings ahead of Week 4.
Just recently, Josh Allen led the Buffalo Bills to a commanding 47-10 victory over the struggling Jaguars, showcasing his exceptional skills with four touchdown passes.

The Bills quickly established control, scoring on each of their five first-half drives, including a touchdown run by James Cook. Allen’s impressive performance saw him complete 23 of 30 passes for 263 yards, effectively distributing the ball among nine different receivers.
Buffalo’s defense stifled the Jaguars, limiting them to just 70 yards and five first downs in the first half. The game essentially ended when Allen connected with Ty Johnson for a 16-yard touchdown just before halftime. Damar Hamlin made a notable contribution with his first career interception, setting up another touchdown shortly after.
Jacksonville Jaguars Still Near The Bottom of NFL’s Power Rankings After Horrible 2024 Start

The Jaguars’ 0-3 start has now pulled them further in the latest NFL power rankings. This is explored in detail in an analysis by ESPN’s Michael DiRocco.
“The offense has been such a mess through the first three weeks that narrowing it down to one issue is tough, but the team’s inability to continue drives has prevented it from getting any momentum. The Jaguars have converted just 21.9% of their third downs through three weeks, the third-worst mark in the league. It’s hard for the Jaguars’ offense to do much damage when it can’t stay on the field,” DiRocco said.
The win marked the Bills’ first 3-0 start since 2020, solidifying their position as a strong contender in the AFC. Meanwhile, the Jaguars, who have now lost three straight games, find themselves in turmoil. Lawrence expressed frustration with the team’s performance, acknowledging that they are struggling to find consistency and rhythm.

Head coach Doug Pederson also voiced disappointment, emphasizing the need for improvement across the board. With injuries affecting their roster, the Jaguars face a challenging path ahead as they prepare for their upcoming game against the Houston Texans.
