Jacksonville Jaguars Reveal Leading Sackers Week 13 Status

The Jacksonville Jaguars play on the road against the Tennessee Titans at Nissan Stadium for Week 13 of the regular season. Jacksonville aims to extend its winning streak to three games with a victory over Tennessee and remain alive in the conference and the AFC South. However, an injury to the Jaguars’ defense could affect their pass rush.

Arik Armstead suffered an apparent hand injury on Thursday but was a full participant on Friday and did not carry an injury designation in Friday’s injury report. However, the tall defensive tackle was downgraded to questionable on Saturday. Armstead has enjoyed a resurgence this season after moving to the full-time defensive tackle role following a year as an EDGE rusher last season. He leads the team in sacks and tackles for loss, with 23 tackles, seven TFLs, seven quarterback hits, 5.5 sacks, and one forced fumble.

Arik Armstead was spotted wearing a cast on his injured hand during pre-game warm-ups, but it appears he will not play. On X, the Jaguars released their inactive players a little while ago, ruling out eight players for the game against the Tennessee Titans. Unfortunately, Armstead was among the eight listed and will miss his first game of the season.
