The Denver Broncos were the seventh seed in the AFC last season. Denver lost to the Buffalo Bills, but they think they can take more steps in the 2025 NFL season.

The Broncos will have quarterback Bo Nix entering his second season and had a good first season in Sean Payton’s offense. Denver believes it can dethrone the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC West this season. The Broncos were the last team to win the AFC West not named Kansas City during the 2015 season. Denver won the Super Bowl that season and it was 10 seasons ago they last won it all.
Denver Broncos Head Coach Sean Payton Has High Expectations For This Team Entering the 2025 NFL Season

Denver’s head coach really likes this year’s Broncos team as the 2025 NFL season is right around the corner. Well, Payton spoke to Charles Robinson, a senior reporter for Yahoo Sports. The Broncos head coach said to Robinson about the team this upcoming season,
“I like this team. A lot. I’ve talked about a Super Bowl.”
Payton also mentioned that he talked about a potential Super Bowl with this group during his first meeting of the year with this football team. Well, Denver has a reliable quarterback for what Payton wants. The Broncos will have one of the best defenses in the NFL entering the 2025 season as well. Denver will not be terrified of facing the Chiefs, the Los Angeles Chargers, or the Las Vegas Raiders in the NFC West for that matter.
The Broncos believe internally that they can make a ton of noise in the AFC Conference during the 2025 NFL season. Denver will open up the season at home in Week 1 against the Tennessee Titans. If they want to be contenders in the AFC, this is a game that they will have to win on their schedule. There will be a lot of people talking about this football team in the AFC West before the 2025 NFL season begins.
