The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Stefon Diggs to a three-year $69 million deal in the offseason. Well, they signed Diggs to be a major help to second-year quarterback Drake Maye.

Well, Diggs was not present at OTAs on Wednesday for New England after being at practice last Thursday with the team. Last weekend, the 31-year-old wide receiver was captured in a viral video hanging out on a boat with Cardi B. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel spoke to the media on Wednesday about Diggs being absent at OTAs.
New England Patriots Head Coach Mike Vrabel Comments On Stefon Diggs Being Absent At OTAs

Vrabel spoke to the media on Wednesday about Diggs being absent and also talked about the viral video that surfaced of him and Cardi B. Vrabel said,
“It’s something that we’re aware of. And obviously, we want to make great decisions on and off the field…Any conversations I’ve had with Stefon will remain between him and I and the club.”
This is not a good look for Diggs already in his first season with New England. He missed time during the 2024 season with the Houston Texans because of an injury. Diggs had 47 receptions with 496 yards receiving and three touchdowns, along with averaging 10.6 yards per reception. He was targeted 64 times.
Diggs, DeMario Douglas, and Kyle Williams for now is projected to be the starting wide receiver core for New England, but Ja’Lynn Polk will be another player to watch for in training camp. This is not the first in Diggs’ career that he caused headaches for teams. He also was a headcase with the Minnesota Vikings and the Buffalo Bills. Hopefully, this will be the only issue that will arrive for Diggs with New England as they try to change things around after going 4-13 in the 2024 NFL season.
