New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers did not practice during OTAs for the team because he was dealing with a toe injury. With training camp already underway, he is still trying to manage the toe injury despite being on the field every day during training camp so far.

Nabers is by far the Giants best playmaker on the field. He has been already trending during training camp with connecting with quarterback Russell Wilson on the deep passes. New York fans are looking forward to seeing more of that during the 2025 NFL season.
New York Giants Wide Receiver Malik Nabers Gets Honest About Toe Injury

Kay Adams of the Up and Adams Show was on the road at Giants training camp on Monday. She interviewed head coach Brian Daboll and Adams also interviewed New York’s star wide receiver as well. She asked him about his current toe injury. Nabers said,
“It’s like a mosquito that don’t wanna go away. Trying to shoe it away.”
Nabers also has claimed that he has been doing a great job of managing the toe injury during the offseason with trainers and other people as well. Nabers, the medical staff, and also Wilson have been on the same page during the offseason.
During the 2024 NFL season as a rookie, Nabers caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards receiving and seven touchdowns, along with averaging 11.0 yards per reception. He was targeted 170 times. The former LSU Tigers wide receiver was fifth in the NFL in receptions and seventh in the NFL in receiving yards. He is only 22 years old and had Top 10 receiving numbers as a rookie. Nabers has a chance to be a Top 5 wide receiver in the NFL in 2025 as long as he can stay healthy and manage the toe injury also.
