As previously discussed on GH, Hazel was in the same vehicle as his former high school teammates, Anthony Lytton Jr. and Khyree Jackson:

According to James Crepea with the Oregonian, the Vikings fourth-round pick died in an automobile accident that also claimed the lives of two other people.

“rookie Khyree Jackson died in an automobile accident in Maryland Friday night.

Jackson, 24, was killed along with former Dr. Henry Wise Jr. High School teammates Anthony Lytton Jr. and Isaiah Hazel, according to their high school coach DaLawn Parrish.”

Per Maryland State Police, Hazel was the driver of a maroon Dodge Charger involved in the crash. Another driver crashed into the Charger while driving at a high rate of speed when changing lanes. Jackson and Hazel were pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
