“We had a goal coming into this season to start fast and build on the things we’ve done last year,” Love told reporters earlier this week. “Obviously, I think we’ve got a really good offense. We’ve been talking about the sky’s the limit and it just comes down to coming out in the game and executing. … We’ve got so many playmakers. We’re really deep on offense and I’ve just got to go out and find ways to execute.”That mindset has translated directly into results. Despite a setback with Jayden Reed’s fractured collarbone, Love thrives with a versatile supporting cast. Tight end Tucker Kraft has emerged as a dynamic weapon, recording 124 yards and a touchdown in Week 2, while Josh Jacobs anchors the run game. The expected return of Christian Watson from an ACL injury will only expand Love’s arsenal.
