The Indianapolis Colts hope to see drastic improvements from their pass rush after finishing near the bottom in pressures and sacks. The good news for the Colts is that they have plenty of up-and-coming young players who could develop into stars and boost their sack totals in 2025. Highlighting their up-and-coming EDGE defenders include Kwity Paye, who led the team in sacks and enters a contract year; Laiatu Latu, who enters Year 2 after a solid rookie season; and J.T. Tuimoloau, their second-round pick.
They also hope their veteran will stay healthy in 2025 after missing all of 2024.

Samson Ebukam suffered an Achilles tendon tear on the third day of training camp. As a result, the Colts placed Ebukam on injured reserve with a designation to return if he were to recover quickly or if they made a deep playoff run. Unfortunately, they did not make a deep playoff run, and he ended up missing the entire 2024 season.

The good news is that he is recovering very nicely.
He gives a major injury update

During Wednesday’s press conference, via Joel A. Erickson, Samson Ebukam gave an update on his recovery from his Achilles injury. Ebukam told the media that he will be in a “great spot” by the end of organized team activities (OTAs). He expects to be fully cleared for training camp and shouldn’t miss the beginning of the new season.
