The Indianapolis Colts still need to address the tight end position because they lack a clear-cut number one. Kylen Granson, their leading receiver at the position, signed with the Philadelphia Eagles, while Jelani Woods has missed back-to-back seasons due to injury. Many analysts expect the Colts to draft a tight end very early in the upcoming draft, and they could also add a veteran for depth purposes.
The Indianapolis Colts retain a key blocker for 2025

According to Ari Meirov, the Colts re-signed Mo Alie-Cox to a one-year deal. Alie-Cox is primarily known for his abilities as a run blocker rather than a pass catcher, hence his 1,433 receiving yards in seven seasons. Retaining their veteran tight end will not impact the 2025 NFL Draft, and the expectation is for them to add their number one of the future.
