The Cleveland Browns have had Andrew Berry as the general manager and also Kevin Stefanski as head coach since the 2020 season. Cleveland has been to the playoffs twice in that span and even won a playoff game.

However, the Browns have had some not so memorable moments during Berry’s tenure as general manager as well. He decided to trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson from the Houston Texans and give him a fully guaranteed contract and that was a massive mistake. Also, Browns rookie second-round pick running back Quinshon Judkins was arrested on July 12 for domestic violence. Cleveland fans were not thrilled with the news, and they have had some questions for Berry after that.
Cleveland Browns Fans Want General Manager Andrew Berry Fired After Latest News

In the 2025 NFL Draft, the Browns decided to move back from two to five with the Jacksonville Jaguars and accumulate extra draft picks, including a 2026 first-round pick. Cleveland acquired the 36th pick from Jacksonville and used that pick on Judkins from the Ohio State Buckeyes. Well, Browns fans certainly now miss running back Nick Chubb after the arrest for Judkins.
Whatever Cleveland tries to do right seems to always backfire on them. The Browns fanbase has had enough of Berry as general manager. This is what some Cleveland fans had to say on Twitter about it:
I’m officially out on Andrew Berry. Guys is just plain not good at his job. Laughably bad at judging character #Browns

I have my issues with Andrew Berry but the two big Problems with the “Fire Andrew Berry” crowd:
1. Almost none of them can name candidates for the job if we were to fire him
2. Most Browns fans live in a pocket of just Browns fans and have no idea how truly awful some GMs are. https://t.co/CH92mGhP7p

FIRE ANDREW BERRY NOW!!!!! I would like to start rooting for this team again, but I won’t until he’s gone!

Make Jimmy Haslam sell the team and fire both Paul Depodesta and Andrew Berry

If Cleveland were to have another fourth-place season in the AFC North, there is a chance that the Browns could start over potentially in 2026 with a new general manager and a new head coach also. Berry and Stefanski should both be on the hot seat for this franchise entering the 2025 NFL season.
