Many NFL analysts are predicting where Colorado Buffaloes quarterback Shedeur Sanders will land in the 2025 NFL Draft on Thursday night in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Sanders has been predicted to be drafted anywhere from second overall by the Cleveland Browns and slide as far down as number 21 to the Pittsburgh Steelers.

It remains to be seen where Sanders will land. For now, it appears as if the most likely landing spots for him will either be number three overall to the New York Giants or number nine to the New Orleans Saints. The 2025 NFL Draft will be one of the most unpredictable drafts in recent memory.
NFL Analyst Has One Spot Where Colorado Buffaloes Quarterback Shedeur Sanders Should Not Land In 2025 NFL Draft

Former NFL quarterback Dan Orlovsky and current ESPN host went onto Get Up on ESPN on Monday morning. With three days until the 2025 NFL Draft, Orlovsky mentioned where Sanders should not want to go in the 2025 NFL Draft. He said,
“If I were Shedeur Sanders, I wouldn’t want to go three. I would want to fall to at least nine. If I’m Shedeur Sanders and I look at the New York Giants … I don’t want to walk into that situation.”
If he were to be drafted by the Giants, he would already have Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston on the roster. The Giants quarterback room even if they don’t add Sanders is also an improvement from the 2025 NFL Draft. If New York did draft him, at least Sanders would be going to an offensive head coach in Brian Daboll.
Him and general manager Joe Schoen have done massive homework on the Buffaloes quarterback all college football season long. They may know him the best out of any team in this draft.
During the 2024 college football season with Colorado, he completed 74.0% of his passes for 4,134 yards, 37 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. Sanders is 6’2″ and weighs 215 lbs. The Giants may not be an ideal landing spot, according to Orlovsky, but it is a much better landing spot than the Cleveland Browns and it also appears as if Sanders wants the spotlight in New York.
