NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has been talking about extending the NFL season from 17 to 18 games. There were always talks about it when the NFL went from 16 to 17 games a few years ago.

There is also a chance that if the NFL ever goes to 18 games, there is a chance that the Super Bowl will be played on Presidents’ Day weekend. Goodell said on the Today Show about this possibility,
“I think 18 weeks would get you to that point, and I think it would be a really great move.”
There will be some fans that are for this and there are some fans that will be against it. However, some will like not having work the next day after the Super Bowl, but some will not like the fact that the NFL will add another game to its regular season.

Well, a lot of NFL fans believe that Goodell does not care about player safety at all. Well, most of the fans are starting to believe that this is the case because it is about money over player safety.
