The Cleveland Browns quarterback battle began on Wednesday with Dillon Gabriel taking first team reps and Joe Flacco taking second team reps. Kenny Pickett was third and Shedeur Sanders was fourth.

Sanders will continue to be fourth on the depth chart for the Browns until further notice. This is frustrating this fanbase because a lot of fans think that Sanders is the best quarterback out of the four competing for the starting job. On Wednesday, there was another viral video of him throwing a touchdown pass in the red zone:

On Tuesday, he hit someone else in stride for a long touchdown pass. On Wednesday, Sanders is showing off what he could potentially do in the red zone.
Cleveland Browns Fans Want To See Shedeur Sanders Traded If He Won’t Move Up Depth Chart

Some Cleveland fans think this franchise is messing up with Sanders by not moving him up to first on the team’s depth chart. This is what some Browns fans said about his latest red zone touchdown during mandatory minicamp on Wednesday:
If they’re not gonna give him any first team reps, I hope he gets traded somewhere that will give him more opportunity to be the guy.

Nice job looking the safety off and creating a wide open lane.

Well, a lot of Browns fans are also trying to stay positive with Sanders during mandatory minicamp leading up to training camp and the 2025 NFL regular season. There are Cleveland fans who believe that no matter what decision they make at quarterback, it will be the wrong one. Some fans think that Gabriel will not be better than Sanders.
