The Texas Longhorns are looking to gear up for a deep college football playoff run. This week, they will face the Florida Gators. Kickoff this week will be at NOON ET on ABC.
The Longhorns can not take this game lightly against the Florida Gators because Florida gave everything the Georgia Bulldogs could handle last week until Georgia won it in the end. Texas will need to have a strong start at home against Florida.
Texas Longhorns Fans React To Looking Forward To the Florida Gators Matchup
The Longhorns fanbase is looking forward to the matchup against the Gators. Before the bye week, Texas defeated the Vanderbilt Commodores 27-24 on the road. Here is what the Texas Longhorns fanbase had to say ahead of the Florida Gators matchup:
I hope Ewers shows up along with the O-line. We need the run and pass blocking to improve each game. Fundamentals are extremely important, like knowing how to tackle properly. I hope Sark worked out the kinks this week!!! We need less penalties!!

The Longhorns will have to win this game against the Gators if they want to keep their hopes of making the SEC Championship alive. Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers will need to play better against the Gators than he did before the bye week.
Arkansas Razorbacks Next Opponent
After the Gators, the Texas Longhorns and head coach Steve Sarkisian will head on the road to face the Arkansas Razorbacks. Texas has four games left in the 2024 college football regular season. The Longhorns have a chance to do something special this season and potentially face the Georgia Bulldogs again in the SEC Championship Game.
Arkansas has already pulled one upset this season at home against the Tennessee Volunteers. Texas is looking to avoid upsets this late in the college football season.
