The Jacksonville Jaguars have not made the playoffs in the last two seasons and because of it, it has led to wholesale changes for the organization. The Jaguars are looking for a new direction during the 2025 NFL season.

Jacksonville Jaguars Quarterback Trevor Lawrence Confident Heading Into the 2025 NFL Season

Well, the Jaguars quarterback said to the Athletic,
“I have a ton of confidence in what we’re doing, and that feels really good. From a scheme perspective, I’ve never been in a system like this. I’ve seen it work with other teams and players, and you can plug and play all these different types of quarterbacks and receivers, and they’ve all had success. That makes me excited for the group we have.”
During the 2024 season with Jacksonville, he completed 60.6% of his passes for 2,045 yards, 11 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Lawrence was ranked 29th in the NFL in passing yards. His production was not up to par. He also only played in 10 games during the 2024 season and missed seven games due to injury. If Lawrence can stay healthy in 2025, maybe he can be the top-tier quarterback that the franchise was looking for.
Drafting Travis Hunter will help him, and he also has Brian Thomas Jr. as well. Lawrence has the talent to have over 4,000 yards and 25 touchdowns in 2025 for this team. All he needs to do is trust the coaching staff and put it altogether and he will be just fine.
