The USC Trojans are in their first season in the BIG10 Conference. The fanbase has criticized head coach Lincoln Riley over the last couple of seasons with the ups and downs they have had.

On Saturday, the Trojans lost another game on the road against the Washington Huskies by a final score of 26-21. With the loss, the Trojans drop to 4-5 on the season and 2-5 in BIG10 Conference play.
USC Trojans Head Coach Lincoln Riley Spoke To the Media After the Loss

After the game, Riley made an interesting comment to the media after another loss this season. Many people thought that the Trojans would be better this season in the BIG10 Conference and that has not turned out to be the case. Lincoln Riley said:
“I don’t handle losing very well. It hasn’t happened much in my career. That part of it is unacceptable.”
This drew a lot of backlash from college football fans. It would be interesting if the Trojans did not make a bowl game this season.

He’ll go home tonight, have a couple cocktails overlooking the ocean, and think about which assistant to scapegoat.

The USC Trojans will be on a bye week next week. The week after Lincoln Riley and his program will face Matt Rhule and the Nebraska Cornhuskers at some. Nebraska is a team that is improving and that is trying to get themselves back on the college football landscape for years to come.
It will be a must-win game for the Trojans at home. If they were to lose this game, there would be more Riley critics.
