The Georgia Bulldogs are 10-2 this season and they are getting prepared for the SEC Championship Game against the Texas Longhorns on Saturday afternoon. The winner of this game will get a bye in the first round of the college football playoffs.
One of the most polarizing players on Georgia’s roster this season is quarterback Carson Beck. Beck before the start of the 2024 college football season was projected to be the top quarterback taken in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Georgia Bulldogs Quarterback Carson Beck Makes Critical Comments Ahead Of Matchup Against the Texas Longhorns
On Monday, the Bulldogs quarterback met with the media. Carson Beck has been under the spotlight all season long. Beck said to the media:
“I don’t enjoy watching football. It’s not fun for me. I watch film… If i watch that game I’m not just going to be able to sit and enjoy it.”
This is an interesting time of season for him to say that. This could explain his reduced production this season. Even though the Georgia Bulldogs won the last game against the Texas Longhorns, it was a game where Beck struggled against an elite Longhorns defense and it is bound to happen again if he doesn’t make any adjustments.
Fans React
That’s not what he’s saying at all either. He watches film, not live games. This shouldn’t affect anything.

He’s looked terrible this season. For all the people who say this wont hurt his draft stock, it sure as hell won’t help it

This doesn’t even sound genuine. He not some expert 😂 he might throw a pick in his first nfl game

There was nothing wrong with his answer. Nice click bait tho!

Wouldn’t draft him with a hundredth round pick if I had one after this comment

Beck also struggled against the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Ole Miss Rebels this season. The best he looked against a quality opponent was against the Tennessee Volunteers. If Georgia does not beat Texas this weekend, it will most likely be because of another poor Carson Beck performance.
