How Do the Ole Miss Rebels Make the 2025 SEC Championship Game?

The Ole Miss Rebels are one of the four teams in the Southeastern Conference that are competing for the two spots in the SEC Championship Game this season. With a guaranteed spot in the College Football Playoff for the conference championship, there are a lot of different scenarios to see how the conference championship game will wind up looking. Let’s take a closer look at how the Ole Miss Rebels can figure out how to get into the SEC Championship Game this season.

How can the Ole Miss Rebels make the 2025 SEC Championship Game?

The Ole Miss Rebels are currently third in the SEC with a 10-1 (6-1) record, but have the toughest road of the four teams still alive for the Southeastern Conference Championship Game. The Rebels have just one singular way to make the conference championship game, but that begins with a victory in Week 14 against the Mississippi State Rebels.

They would also need the Texas Longhorns to defeat the Texas A&M Aggies while also having the Auburn Tigers secure the win over the Alabama Crimson Tide. This would make the SEC have a three-way tie for first place between itself, Georgia, and Texas A&M. In this scenario, the conference title game would be the Ole Miss Rebels and likely the Georgia Bulldogs as the tiebreakers would lean that way.

Heading into Week 14, the Ole Miss Rebels have an 82% chance of making the College Football Playoff, according to the ESPN CFP Predictor. It is a bit of a long shot, but the Rebels still can find their way in the SEC Championship Game if the cards fall right.
