The Houston Texans played the Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday in what could end up being a possible preview of a playoff matchup. The Texans have been an interesting team to watch this season, after starting the year off strong, Houston has not shown the same dominance in the second half of the season. One of the team’s top receivers suffered a horrific knee injury on a touchdown catch, causing him to be carted off the field.
Houston Texans Receiver Injured
Star receiver Tank Dell suffered a horrific knee injury against Kansas City, catching a touchdown pass from quarterback C.J. Stroud. The injury was so gruesome that the league decided not to show specific angles of the tackle that caused his knee to be injured.
Hard to watch Texans emotions after Tank Dell makes a great TD catch but suffers severe knee injury.

All the players, including Stroud, were incredibly emotional after learning the severity of Dell’s injury, and head coach DeMeco Ryans had to come to comfort his players and give them motivation to keep playing hard.
Tank Dell
Dell has been a great target for Stroud in his first two seasons with the team, amounting to 1,278 receiving yards and nine touchdowns since entering the league. He was on track to have a massive game against the Chiefs, with 98 receiving yards and a touchdown, before going out of the game.
There is no official diagnosis for what the specific injury is for now, but it looks like Dell’s season could be over. This page will be updated with the official diagnosis once it is revealed.
