The Houston Texans will play the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football to try to cement themselves in the AFC playoff picture. Houston has struggled offensively since missing their star receiver, Nico Collins, who has been out with a hamstring injury. He was able to practice this week, and the team just made the official announcement of his playing status for Monday night.
Houston Texans Reveal Status Of Receiver
According to NFL insider Adam Schefter, Collins has officially been fully activated to play against Dallas with no play-time restrictions. Collins has been out of the lineup since October with his injury, and having him back will likely open up the passing attack once again.
After missing Houston’s past five games due to a hamstring injury, Texans WR Nico Collins is considered a full go for tonight’s game vs. the Cowboys, with no play-time restrictions.

The star receiver has gone for 567 receiving yards and three touchdowns so far in 2024 and was looking like quarterback C.J. Stroud’s number-one option. Collins currently has surpassed 100 yards in three games this season, and he will look to add to that total.
Since entering the league in 2021, the receiver has amounted to 2,791 yards, 182 catches, and 14 touchdowns, which currently leads the team. Houston is in a must-win situation as the Indianapolis Colts are hot on their tails in their division.
