The Ole Miss Rebels are the fifth ranked team in the country, and they have an 8-1 record this season. Lane Kiffin is the head coach of this football team, and he is 50 years old.

Kiffin has been the head coach of this football program since the 2020 college football season. He has shown a lot of progress with the Rebels during the last three to four seasons here. Kiffin is a hot candidate to potentially be the next head coach of the Florida Gators, the LSU Tigers, or another NFL team. What are the odds that he leaves the Rebels football program and goes elsewhere next season and beyond?
College Football Insider Reveals That Ole Miss Rebels HC Lane Kiffin Is Here For the Long Haul

Adam Gorney of on3.com covers the Rebels. He said about Kiffin potentially staying at Ole Miss for the long haul,
“The staff has told me that he’s staying and we’re still locked in for the long haul.”
With him potentially being with this program for the long haul, this means that he does not have interest in the Gators or the Tigers job. In reality, Ole Miss is probably a better job at the moment in college football than Florida and LSU.
The Gators fanbase does not like athletic director Scott Stricklin and the Tigers problem is that Governor Jeff Landry will be meddling in a lot of the football decisions. Staying with the Rebels is going to be smart for Kiffin in the long haul. He is doing a nice job with the program. Kiffin won’t have the same national championship expectations with Ole Miss like he would with LSU and Florida for that matter.
