New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has been dealing with a toe issue during the 2025 offseason. He suffered this injury for the Giants during the 2024 NFL season and has not been on the field much for New York during OTAs and mandatory minicamp.

However, despite all of that, Nabers is expected to be ready for training camp on July 22 for New York. The Giants are just trying to manage his toe injury, so it doesn’t linger into training camp and the regular season. He has taken part in some walk-through periods and also jogging on the sidelines without a limp.
New York Giants Head Coach Brian Daboll Gives Positive Injury Update For Malik Nabers

Head coach Brian Daboll spoke to the media on Wednesday to give an update about Nabers’ toe injury. Daboll said to ESPN’s Jordan Raanan,
“He’s doing good. No [concern].”
This is a good sign for him and the Giants when they begin training camp next month. Nabers has had this toe issue since being with the LSU Tigers and Daboll had a different offseason plan for Nabers to get ready for the 2025 NFL season. The Giants head coach also said,
“Every person’s at a different part in — call it rehab if you will, or prehab. And we just did what we thought was best for Malik to try to get him as healthy as we can. He has had some issues, like I said, in the past in college with it. And again, that was the plan that we came up with for him and for our football team.”
Nabers was not the only player who was limited during the springtime. Left tackle Andrew Thomas and defensive tackle Dexter Lawrence were also limited as well. They will also be fine when training camp rolls around for New York.
The star wide receiver during the 2024 NFL season caught 109 passes for 1,204 yards receiving and seven touchdowns, along with averaging 11.0 yards per reception. He also was targeted 170 times. Nabers was fifth in the NFL in receptions and seven in the NFL in receiving yards. The Giants are hoping he is ready to go and will make an immediate impact once again during the 2025 NFL season.
