On Thursday on 92.3 the Fan in Cleveland, Ohio, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com went onto a show and defended Stefanski. She said about him, “Kevin Stefanski deserves to coach this team with a QB he can win consistently with and I don’t know he’s had that here for any length of time. I would try and give him the QB and see what he can do with it.” It is also interesting that she also defended general manager Andrew Berry as well. Berry is also on the hot seat. There are Cleveland fans who do not agree with what she said at all.

There are a lot of Browns fans and other media members in Cleveland, Ohio who believe that Stefanski should be fired and question why he is still coaching. Cabot threw an absolute curve ball to the media on Thursday morning with her comments. There are Cleveland fans who are furious with her statement. This is what Browns had to say on Twitter:

Stefanski had to go through three different quarterbacks this season: Joe Flacco, Shedeur Sanders, and Dillon Gabriel. Flacco did not play well with Cleveland until he was traded to the Cincinnati Bengals and looked much better for them. The offense is not very high powered. A lot of fans believe that Stefanski is hindering Shedeur’s development.

A lot of fans believe it is time for them to start all over. Yes, Stefanski won two coach of the year awards with the Browns, but the last two seasons have not helped his cause from this fanbase.
