Travis Kelce never fails to support his friends. This time it’s for Rashee Rice, who is making his long-awaited return after serving an NFL suspension. The tight end expressed his happiness over seeing Rice back on the football scene in his “New Heights” podcast.

“He can put this f—ing s—t in the past. Rashee is such a good dude.“When all this happened, I gave him a shout and let him know, ‘Man, listen, we know who you are as a person. Don’t let the world drag you through and make you feel like you’re any less of that.’” tightened stated

Kelce’s stance was heartfelt,  an unwavering support for Rice at such a crucial time.

Rice was absent after he was injured in a high-speed collision in March 2024 in Dallas that left many people injured. He pleaded guilty later to various charges and was given a probation sentence of five years, along with a 30-day jail term. In its personal conduct policy, the NFL imposed a six-game suspension that he has served

After finishing all legal and league requirements, Rice rejoined the Chiefs at practice this week. Head coach Andy Reid validates his arrival. The head coach confirmed he would make his debut Sunday when the Red Army hosts the Las Vegas Raiders at 1pm ET. While star quarterback Patrick Mahomes  revealed his joy:

“It’s going to be hard to keep Rashee off the field. The offense has struggled with depth at receiver, and Rice’s comeback could provide a timely boost.”

Kelce’s gesture showed forgiveness and growth, believing Rice deserves the chance for a better future. His stance shredded the locker room’s mood: unity and second chances. The Chiefs hope Rice’s arrival can ignite both his faith and their offensive sync as they are ready for another deep postseason run.

Rice’s comeback isn’t just about football; it’s about growth, recovery, and a reminder that the game still gives second chances when accountability is met
