Hawaii’s recruiting season is in full swing, and the Rainbow Warriors have added Offensive Lineman Kaleb Jackson Carter to its roster. Hawaii recruiting is significant because Hawaii needs to improve its team. Hawaii finished its 2022 campaign with a 3-10 record. Head Coach Timmy Chang has decided to add to Hawaii’s offensive line with Kaleb Jackson Carter.  Carter committed to Hawaii on December 21.

Hawaii’s offensive line played well this past season. The Rainbow Warriors allowed 20 sacks according to stats provided by NCAA football. Hawaii’s offensive line also ranked 40th out of 131 qualifying football programs. Kaleb Jackson Carter can strengthen Hawaii’s offensive line and Hawaii’s offensive line can be even better in 2023.

    Kaleb Jackson Carter’s Background

Kaleb Jackson Cater stands at 6 feet 5 inches and has played football and basketball.  Carter attends Desert Edge High School in Goodyear, Arizona. Carter is a versatile football player who has played offensive tackle and offensive guard. Carter is a 3-star athlete according to 247 sports.

Kaleb Jackson Carter plays the game the right way for an offensive lineman. Carter moves well in space and has the ability to block defenders in the run game. You can check out his highlights on his Hudl account.

    Additional Information

Carter had offers from Montana State, Montana, Idaho, Idaho State, and Hawaii. Carter said, ” I chose Hawaii because it reminded me of home and the energy I got when I got off the plane was amazing.” Carter doesn’t mind where he plays on Hawaii’s offensive line.  Carter said, “It doesn’t matter where coach puts me, I’m going to dominate wherever.”

I asked Kaleb Jackson Carter about what he likes about Hawaii’s offense. Carter said, “The thing I love about this offense is it’s not one-sided and there will be opportunities for me to get out in space and block linebackers and defensive backs.”

Side note: I couldn’t add a picture of Kaleb Jackson Carter because the pictures available were copyrighted.
