Green Bay Packers Keys to Victory Against The Tennessee Titans

After a great 16-10 win over the Indianapolis Colts without their starting quarterback, the Green Bay Packers should be feeling good going into their week three game against the Tennessee Titans. Jordan Love is practicing, but it is unsure if he will actually play this week. If not, it will be Malik Willis taking on his former team who traded him to Green Bay last month. It should be a good Green Bay crowd in Nashville this weekend, Here are the keys to a Green Bay Packers win on Sunday.

Make Will Levis Beat You

Though only two games, Tennessee head coach Brian Callahan is already frustrated with starting quarterback Will Levis. The second year player from Kentucky has committed a horrible turnover in each of the first two games. In last weeks game against the Jets, Callahan was seen asking Levis “What the **** are you doing”.

Despite that and the 0-2 record, the Titans have been in both games. They lost 24-17 each week, but they also handed the Bears the win on week one despite being a mess on offense.

The Green Bay Packers defense needs to make Levis uncomfortable from the beginning. I am hoping to see early blitz packages from Jeff Hafley and hopefully seeing an early turnover. If this defense forces multiple turnovers, the Green Bay Packers will win.

Take Away the Tennessee Rush Attack

What the Titans do well on offense is run the ball. As a team, they are averaging five yards a carry. Tony Pollard is a dual threat running back who the Titans signed after spending his first five years in Dallas. He’s a player who can take over a game.

We will also see Tennessee use another running back in Tyjae Spears. He only has ten carries on the year and is battling an ankle injury, but when n the field, he is a threat to run and catch n the backfield.

Let the Green Bay Packers Offensive Weapons Win this Game

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jayden Reed (11) gets a first down on a reception against Indianapolis Colts safety Rodney Thomas II (25) during their football game Sunday, September 15, 2024, at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

The Green Bay Packers will likely have a similar game plan regardless who starts. They will want to be cautious with Jordan Love and don’t want to throw too much on the plate of Malik Willis.

The Packers are fortunate to have players like Jayden Reed, Romeo Doubs, Josh Jacobs, Christian Watson, and Dontayvion Wicks. Any one of these players are capable of being the main target. There is no WR1 on this team and they have used it to their advantage.

I think this is a game we see a lot of Reed and Jacobs, Reed is a great receiver after the catch and Jacobs is coming off a 150+ yard game against the Indianapolis Colts. I think if they can all be a part of game plan and get involved, it is too many weapons to cover for the Titans defense.
