Green Bay Packers linebacker Quay Walker suffered a stinger injury during the third quarter of Week 11 against the New York Giants and did not return for the remainder of the game. Matt LaFleur initially described the leading tackler as day-to-day, with the week of practice ultimately determining whether he plays on Sunday. Walker is having a breakout fourth season, on pace for career highs in tackles, TFLs, and pass deflections, recording 84 tackles, six TFLs, 1.5 sacks, and four pass deflections.
Green Bay Packers leading tackler gets brutal update for Week 12

Quay Walker sat out during this week’s practice but has shown signs of improvement. According to Wes Hodkiewicz of the team’s website, the Packers have listed him as doubtful for the game against the Minnesota Vikings, with a 25% chance of playing. Not having Walker in the starting lineup will negatively impact the defense, as he wears the green dot and communicates directly with defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.
Along with Jacobs, Matthew Golden, Savion Williams, Dontayvion Wicks, Lukas Van Ness & Karl Brooks are questionable.

Who replaces him?

Isaiah McDuffie is expected to take over as the starting middle linebacker in Week 12 and wear the green dot on his helmet, while Ty’Ron Hopper will step into the No. 3 linebacker role. McDuffie filled in for the remainder of Week 11 and recorded 11 tackles and a half sack, logging a season high of 53 defensive snaps. Hopper recorded one tackle and represented a career high of 12 snaps.
