Breaking: Green Bay Packers HC Says Major Help Is On The Way For Jordan Love (Report)

The Green Bay Packers are going into the 2024 season with championship expectations.  While some consider them a dark-horse Super Bowl contender, most consider them a team who could make a deep run in the NFC playoff picture.

Jordan Love is a huge reason for that, specifically the way he played during the second half of the 2023 season.  Now Love is about to get some major help back on the offensive side of the ball.

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky:

Matt LaFleur said RT Zach Tom will start doing 11 on 11 work next week, and TE Tucker Kraft likely will start practicing on a limited basis.

Tom’s return should help solidify things in the line.

MLF said: “It’s tough on the line right now.”

According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the Packers think Zach Tom – who started all 17 games and excelled at right tackle last season – has Hall of Fame potential at center.

“I was told by a couple of people within the organization, they think Zach Tom is a Pro Bowl right tackle, an All-Pro guard and a potential Hall of Fame center,” Demovsky said on the “Wilde and Tausch Show” on Friday.

It was a “direct quote” from someone in the building, Demovsky said. A question to Demovsky regarding Josh Myers, who is entering the final year of his rookie deal in 2024, led to the information being revealed. In response, Demovsky said he believed Tom would be the long-term answer at center.

For now, having Tom back at right tackle is huge for the Packers’ offensive line.  It will be big to get him back for Jordan Love and this offense as a whole.
