The 9-4 Green Bay Packers will travel to Washington to face off against the 8-5 Seattle Seahawks at Lumen Field for their 14th regular season game on Sunday Night Football. For Sunday’s night game, the Packers’ injury-depleted pass defense must be at their A-game against the Seahawks’ talented receiving corps led by Jaxon Smith-Njigba, D.K. Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett. Smith-Njigba is having a breakout second season, leading the team in receiving with 911 yards and five touchdowns, followed by former second-round pick Metcalf with 812 yards and three touchdowns, and veteran Lockett with 511 yards and two touchdowns in 2024.
The Green Bay Packers elite CB has missed four of the last six games

Packers’ two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander tore his PCL during their final defensive series in Week 8 against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Alexander did not play in Week 9 against the Detroit Lions and exited Week 11 against the Chicago Bears because he aggravated his PCL injury after ten defensive snaps. Since then, he missed Weeks 12-14.
Alexander practiced on Wednesday and Thursday during the week as a full participant. Many fans hoped he would play against the Seattle Seahawks and their talented receiving corps.
The Green Bay Packers revealed a brutal injury update for Week 15

After practicing on Wednesday and Thursday, Jaire Alexander did not participate in Friday’s practice. The Packers will release the week’s final injury report shortly. However, Matt LaFleur told the media via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic that Alexander isn’t quite ready. Therefore, he will miss Week 15, his fourth consecutive game, and the seventh game he has missed all season.
Jaire Alexander is OUT for Sunday’s game, Matt LaFleur says. Based on what he saw in two full practices this week, didn’t feel Alexander was ready so he didn’t practice today.
