The Los Angeles Rams encountered a significant problem before their important TNF matchup against Seattle Seahawks, resulting from a major flight problem. Their chartered jet reportedly experienced equipment failure minutes before takeoff.

Some fans have jokingly linked the plane issue to Puka Nacua, framing it as karma rather than a real cause of the mechanical problem. The reason? Nacua made headlines for all the wrong reasons after appearing on Adin Ross’ controversial livestream.
Puka Nacua Photo Fuels Jokes as Rams Charter Suffers Hours-Long Delay
Adam Schefter broke the news on X (formerly Twitter) about the Rams’ travel nightmare. The team’s charter flight was expected to depart Wednesday but got hit with major delays.
Schefter later, in another tweet, confirmed that head coach Sean McVay, who just came from watching his second baby cry after birth, has had his staff regroup to sort out the logistics as players waited with their bags packed and game plans ready. However, they eventually secured a backup 737, with players and coaches departing at 5:25 p.m. PT.
Things turned spicy following the tweet because Schefter’s tweet included a photo of Nacua in his Rams jersey on the sideline. The picture choice seemed like deliberate trolling, given what had just happened.

On December 17, 2025, Nacua joined streamer Adin Ross’ livestream alongside N3on. The appearance drew massive criticism. During the stream, Nacua ripped into NFL referees and performed a controversial dance. He even tried — and failed — to get the streamers into the Rams facility.
Fans questioned why a player would hit up a polarizing livestream right before a crucial divisional game. The Rams were already dealing with playoff pressure. They didn’t need their star receiver creating distractions.

When Schefter’s tweet dropped with Nacua’s photo front and center, the internet had a field day. Fans flooded the comments linking the delay to his streaming session.
Fans Roast Nacua’s PR Disaster and Streaming Sideshow
The comment section turned into a Puka Nacua roast session. Fans didn’t think of holding on anymore.
One fan wrote, “Puka’s streaming duties calling again?”
Another fan noted, “Bro this is all because Puka went on Adin Ross’s stream.”
A third claimed, “Puka Nacua entertaining Adin Ross pisses me off. Go watch tapes, see your newborn, work out, play video games, idc anything but Adin.”
The fourth added, “Puka has spent months trying to become as unlikeable as possible. Becoming Adin Ross’s streamer sidekick might be a speed-running glitch.”
A fifth remarked, “Puka got one of the worst PR teams of all time for letting him get on stream with Adin Ross and Neon in the first place.”
A sixth penned, “Puka Nacua should probably have better sense than going on a fucking Adin Ross stream lol.”
Nacua’s PR team drew criticism for letting him appear on Ross’ stream, which is known for controversy, just before a must-win game. Fans weren’t interested in explanations — they wanted his focus on football, not streaming.
