Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders is going to be preparing for life without Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter entering the 2025 college football season. However, Deion had a health scare during the offseason.

During a press conference on Monday, Yahoo Sports reported,
“BREAKING: Colorado coach Deion Sanders announced he has been battling bladder cancer this offseason. He had successful surgery to remove his bladder and is now cancer free, according to his physicians.”
This is great news for the Buffaloes head coach. This news was not made public until the announcement came on Monday. It is a good thing that Deion will be returning to the sidelines for the upcoming 2025 college football season.

Everyone is happy that Deion is cancer free. It would have been even more devastating if he would not have been able to return to the sidelines for Colorado during the 2025 college football season. The good news is that the cancer is gone and hopefully it will never come back.
