The Cleveland Browns selected running back Quinshon Judkins from the Ohio State Buckeyes 36th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Cleveland was hoping Judkins would be one of the running backs who would contribute for them in 2025.

Now, all of that could potentially be in jeopardy. He was arrested on July 12 for Battery and Domestic Violence. With training camp set to begin next week for the Browns, will Judkins be on the field at all for them or will he be suspended? That is one of the hot topics going around for Cleveland.
Cleveland Browns Insider Believes That Rookie Running Back Quinshon Judkins Will Get Suspended

Cleveland.com writer Mary Kay Cabot covers this football team. She was on Cleveland Talking Heads on 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, Ohio with Andy Baskin and Jeff Phelps. Cabot said about Judkins future with the team,
“I really can’t see how the NFL isn’t going to suspend him.”
Well, there has been no information up to this point about whether or not the NFL will suspend Judkins for his off the field actions over the weekend. For now, it appears as if he will be ready to report to training camp for this franchise, but there is a chance that he could also not report to training camp as well. With that being said, there is a chance that Judkins could be suspended before Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season.
If he were to be suspended, it will be interesting to see how many games he would miss. It could very well be somewhere from six to 10 games. Also, what’s important here is that general manager Andrew Berry has not signed Judkins to a rookie contract yet.
On this team’s depth chart, Judkins is projected to be the second running back behind Jerome Ford. Rookie Dylan Sampson from the Tennessee Volunteers is projected to be the third running back on the depth chart. If Judkins is suspended by the NFL, Sampson will see a much bigger role for Cleveland earlier on than expected. There is still a lot that potentially needs to play out with Judkins, but a suspension would not be a surprise this early in his NFL career also.
