“God Have Mercy on Your Toilet”: NFL Fans Freak Out Over Retired 300-Pound Lineman’s First McDonald’s Order

Breiden Fehoko hung up his cleats Friday. The 300-pound offensive lineman announced his retirement from the NFL at age 29. Then he hit McDonald’s harder than he ever hit a running back.

Fans can hardly believe their eyes at the number of items he ordered, which in every way seemed like a meal for an entire family. Given the amount, folks joked that he doesn’t need to worry about weight gain anyway, while others mockingly expressed concern for what his stomach would go through next.

Fehoko dropped his retirement announcement on Instagram with an emotional post. “Sometimes in life you just get a sense of fulfillment and for me it’s now,” he wrote. The nose tackle spent three seasons with the Chargers, recording 36 tackles in 19 games.

Then, Pittsburgh Steelers had the 300-pound lineman on their roster during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, but he never wound up playing a snap for them. He was released in August before the regular season started. Unfortunately, no team picked him up.

After announcing his retirement, the Hawaii native hit the gym for one last workout. Then he chose to celebrate his freedom from strict NFL meal plans.

“Felt like going crazy at @McDonalds after my workout,” he tweeted following his all-out purchase from local McDonald’s. The order followed: “2 filet o fish 2 McChickens add Big Mac sauce 20 piece nuggets Sweet n Sour 2 Double Cheesburgers add Big Mac sauce.”

For years, Fehoko maintained the discipline NFL teams demand. Defensive tackles can’t afford to get too heavy or too light. The balance is crucial for gap control and leverage.

Now retired, Fehoko could finally eat whatever he wanted.  But fans couldn’t believe the sheer volume of food on offer. Some felt sympathy for the McDonald’s bag holding all that weight. Others worried about the aftermath.

One fan wrote, “My god have mercy on your toilet and anyone within a 5 mile radius of it.”

Another added, “Ain’t gotta worry bout weigh ins bih lol.”

The third one claimed, “Me a 300lb man am inspired to become a fit 300lb man so I can eat like a king.”

“I prey for your stomach idk man McDonalds just makes my stomach turn into a knot can’t eat it anymore,” a fourth claimed.

The fifth one penned, “Must be a heavy duty bag to not rip with all that.”

A sixth followed the bag comment, noting, “All that in one bag?, bag fighting for its life.”

The bag became a running joke online. Fans wondered if McDonald’s should sponsor stronger bags for retired NFL players.

Now Fehoko looks forward to his next chapter, just living on his own schedule. And apparently that schedule includes massive McDonald’s orders whenever he wants.
