The New York Giants started their 2024 campaign off with a brutal home loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In a game many expected New York to win if they’re going to be competitive with QB Daniel Jones, was anything but competitive.
Jones’ future with the team is certainly up in the air, especially if New York undergoes another sub .500 year. However, many within New York’s front office could already be eyeing his replacement.
Giants Expected To Land New QB With “Incredible Pocket Presence”

Moss lands with another franchise likely (see: moving toward clearly) in need of a quarterback upgrade. He has the pocket tools to thrive in the NFL.
Moss is a rapidly ascending prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft:
Moss is a redshirt junior with another year of eligibility with the Trojans. He’s given no public indication as to which way he might be leaning in terms of returning for another season or heading to the NFL after this one. The Trojans have seen quarterbacks go both ways when it comes to leaving early or returning to school.
Both Matt Leinart and Matt Barkley looked as though they could leave as juniors but elected to return for another year at USC. Mark Sanchez and Sam Darnold both left early for the NFL. Sanchez spent one full season as the starter for the Trojans, had one year of eligibility remaining and went as the No. 5 overall pick.
Darnold became the starter during his redshirt freshman season and then held the position the following year. He had two years of eligibility left and was the No. 3 overall selection.
In two games this season, Moss has completed 72.7% of his passes for 607 yards, two touchdowns and no interceptions.
