The Kansas City Chiefs are making another roster move at tight end early in training camp. The Chiefs have had to shuffle around their roster at tight end in the previous couple of weeks due to injuries.
The Kansas City Chiefs signed a familiar tight end recently
As previously discussed on GH, the Chiefs signed a familiar face, Izaiah Gathings, due to an injury to Gerrit Prince:
Per the league’s transaction wire, the Chiefs brought back tight end Izaiah Gathings, who spent time on the Chiefs during the 2023 season…
The Steelers released Gathings in early June. The New York Jets initially signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2023.
The Chiefs would waive Prince.
Gathings could be feeling the heat from a rookie out of Mississippi State.
