Last week, Georgia went into Alabama and saw their perfect season go down the drain with a 41-34 loss to the Crimson Tide, and this week, the Bulldogs are taking on another school from the state of Alabama.
Georgia will host Auburn this Saturday. They are facing a Tigers team that has struggled recently, losing two games in a row, so this is a great chance for the Bulldogs to get back in the win column.
Georgia Will Be Down A Star Player This Week

Even though Georgia did give up 41 points to Alabama this past weekend, they still have one of the best defenses in the county, and this week, they will be missing one of their best players on that side of the ball.
According to Matt Zenitz, “Georgia will be without standout linebacker Smael Mondon vs. Auburn this week. Already listed as out for this week on the Bulldogs’ availability report.”

Mondon has recorded 17 tackles this season and is one of the better players on defense, so it will be important for the other defenders to step up in his place and hopefully cause issues for Auburn’s quarterback, Payton Thorne, who has had an issue turning over the football this season.
The Bulldogs will need Mondon back in two weeks because they head on the road and play one of the best teams in the country, Texas, in a game that could decide one of the spots in the SEC title.
