Georgia football has become the class of the SEC since head coach Kirby Smart took over the reins in 2016. During his nine-year run, Georgia finished in the top ten of the College Football Playoff Poll eight times, won at least 11 games seven times, and secured two national championships. This year, for the fourth consecutive season, Georgia played in the SEC Championship game, beating the Texas Longhorns en route to another CFP appearance. However, disappointing to Georgia Bulldogs fans, following a bye in the first round, the SEC power fell to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the Sugar Bowl.
In the loss, Georgia scored just ten points, with quarterback Carson Beck missing the contest with an injury. Following the conclusion of the 2024 campaign, Beck entered the transfer portal, eventually landing with the Miami Hurricanes. With the departure of Beck and Georgia’s most recent blowout defeat, one prominent college football media member believes fans of the Bulldogs are not satisfied with the program’s current status. However, many of the Georgia faithful believe their fanbase remains one of the most confident in the country.
Georgia Football Fans Question Barstool Personality

According to Brandon Walker of Barstool Sports:
There are currently 13 fanbases in college football who are 100 percent completely happy with their program right now.
Texas
Indiana
SMU
Notre Dame
Oregon
Arizona State
Ole Miss
Illinois
Syracuse
Mizzou
Colorado
Vanderbilt
Per Brandon Walker of Barstool Sports, 13 fanbases sit “100 percent completely happy” with their college football fanbase. Most notably absent was the Georgia football program, the winner of two of the previous four national championships. Last season, Georgia lost three games, their most since 2018, although they still won the SEC Championship and competed in the College Football Playoff. Yet, offseason woes, a brutal 23-10 loss against Notre Dame in their lone playoff matchup, and the transfer of quarterback Carson Beck has Walker believing Georgia football fans are not content with the program.
Beck, the SEC passing yards leader in 2023, threw for 7,426 yards, 52 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions in his final two seasons with UGA. With his departure, Gunner Stockton will have a leg up for the quarterback competition. Stockton threw for 243 yards, one touchdown, and no interceptions in his lone start last season in the CFP against Notre Dame. Nevertheless, Georgia football fans believe that if fellow SEC teams Ole Miss and Vanderbilt have “completely happy” fanbases, then so do the Bulldogs:
I am happy to live in a world where 2 seeded SEC champion Georgia underachieved

I could actually pick eight teams fan bases on this list that would rather change places with UGA. They lost in the playoffs because of a couple dropped passes and two bad calls.

Georgia not being on this list after winning two of the last five national championships and having the second best recruiting class in 2025 is odd.

When you win the SEC you didn't under achieve

Very happy at Georgia tool. Best coach in the country.
